Who we are
This website, digitaldignity.in / digitaldignity.in, is operated by SVM Digital Dignity (“Digital Dignity”), Flat 302, Suravi Residency, Beeramguda, Hyderabad, Telangana 502319, India [business name and address as supplied by the owner; to be confirmed before launch], a digital marketing and business growth agency. In this policy, “we”, “us” and “our” refer to Digital Dignity.
What this policy covers
This policy explains what personal data we collect through this website, why we collect it, how we use and protect it, and the choices you have. It is written with India’s Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 and related rules in mind.
Information we collect
Consultation and contact form
When you send an enquiry, we collect your name, email address and phone number, and the information you choose to provide - such as company, website, the service you are interested in, an approximate budget range and your message. Our form software (Elementor) is set not to keep the IP address or browser details (user agent) of the device used to send the enquiry; they are removed from the stored enquiry straight after it is saved.
Suggested country for your phone number. When the contact page opens, your browser asks our own web server which country your connection appears to come from. Our hosting provider (Hostinger) works this out on its server from your IP address, using a country database kept on its own servers; no other company is asked. Only a two-letter country code is sent back to your browser, and it is used only to preselect the calling code next to the phone field. You can change it. Neither your IP address nor the suggested country is added to your enquiry or stored by this website, and the answer is never cached or shown to another visitor. If the country cannot be worked out, no country is preselected and you choose one. [Legal review: confirm this description and whether a short notice at the form is also needed.]
Ad Channel Planner
To show your full recommendation, the planner asks for your name and email address together with your answers about industry, business model, goal, target market, monthly media budget, readiness and current channels. We store your answers and the recommendation shown to you with your contact details. If you separately tick the optional box to receive marketing updates, we record that choice. Receiving marketing updates is optional and is not needed to get your result.
Information collected automatically
Like most websites, our hosting provider’s servers process technical information such as IP address, browser type and pages requested, to deliver and secure the site. On the contact page, the server also looks up the country of your connection to suggest a phone calling code (see Consultation and contact form). To protect our forms from spam, the server briefly counts submissions using a one-way hash of your IP address for up to 15 minutes; the address itself is not stored. At the time of writing, this website does not use analytics or advertising tracking tools. See Cookies and similar technologies. [Update these sections if analytics, tag management or advertising tools are added.]
How we use your information
- To respond to your enquiry and, where relevant, arrange a consultation.
- To show you your Ad Channel Planner result and follow up with you about a consultation related to it.
- To send marketing updates, only if you have opted in. You can withdraw that consent at any time.
- To keep the website secure and working properly.
We do not sell your personal data.
Consent and withdrawal
We process the personal data you submit on the basis of the consent you give when you submit a form. You may withdraw consent at any time by contacting us at contact@digitaldignity.in. Withdrawal does not affect processing that took place before it. You can change or withdraw your cookie choices at any time using Cookie settings.
Where your data is stored and who can access it
Form and planner submissions are stored in this website’s WordPress database, hosted by our web hosting provider [hosting provider and data location to be confirmed]. Email notifications about new enquiries and planner submissions are sent to Digital Dignity’s email inboxes [confirm the email providers that host these inboxes]. Access is limited to people at Digital Dignity who need it to respond to you, and to service providers who host or deliver our website and email, under appropriate safeguards. We do not currently send form or planner data to a CRM or other third-party marketing service. [Update if this changes.]
How long we keep it
We keep enquiry and planner submissions for [retention period to be decided by Digital Dignity], unless a longer period is required by law or you become a client. We then delete or anonymise them.
Your rights
Subject to applicable law, you may ask us to give you a summary of the personal data we hold about you, correct or update it, erase it, or withdraw your consent. You may also nominate another person to exercise your rights in the event of death or incapacity. To make a request, contact us at contact@digitaldignity.in. We will respond within a reasonable time.
Grievances
If you have a concern about how we handle your personal data, please contact [name or role of grievance contact] at contact@digitaldignity.in. If you are not satisfied with our response, you may have the right to approach the Data Protection Board of India.
Cookies and similar technologies
This section lists the cookies and similar technologies found on this website in an audit on 31 October 2026. We will update it if we add or change a service. [Staging draft: to be reviewed with the rest of this policy.]
Choosing and changing your settings
On your first visit we ask whether you allow optional services. You can accept all, reject optional services, or choose for yourself. The website’s essential functions, including our forms and the Ad Channel Planner, work whatever you choose. You can change your choice at any time using Cookie settings, which is linked at the bottom of every page.
What this website uses
| Name | Provided by | Purpose and category | Type and duration | When it is set |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| dd_consent | This website | Remembers your cookie choices, when you made them, the policy version, and a random consent ID that links your choices to our record of them (see below). It does not contain your name, email address or IP address. Necessary. | First-party cookie. Kept for 6 months (183 days) from your most recent choice. Each new choice renews it and keeps the same consent ID. | Only after you make a choice in the cookie banner or Cookie settings. |
| Google Maps cookies and similar technologies | Show the interactive map of our office on the Contact page. Optional (Maps). | Third-party. Google decides their names and durations. See how Google uses cookies (opens in a new tab). | Only if you load the map or allow Maps in Cookie settings. | |
| _grecaptcha | Google reCAPTCHA | Set in your browser's local storage by Google's reCAPTCHA script when it checks a form submission for spam (see below). Used for spam protection. | Local storage on this website's domain. It has no expiry date and stays until you clear this website's data in your browser. | When you use the contact form or reach the last step of the Ad Channel Planner. |
| Google reCAPTCHA cookies and similar technologies | Used by Google to tell people from automated programs. Spam protection. | Third-party. Google decides their names and durations. See how Google uses cookies (opens in a new tab). | When reCAPTCHA loads (see below). | |
| wordpress_logged_in_*, wordpress_sec_*, wordpress_test_cookie, wp-settings-* | This website (WordPress) | Keep site staff signed in to the website’s administration area and remember their admin screen preferences. Necessary. | First-party cookies. Login cookies end with the browser session, or after 14 days if “Remember me” is ticked. Admin preference cookies last up to one year. These are WordPress defaults. | Only when site staff log in. Visitors who do not log in do not receive them. |
We found no analytics, advertising, social media tracking or other tracking tools on this website. Apart from Google reCAPTCHA’s spam check described below, our contact form and the Ad Channel Planner do not set cookies or use your browser’s storage. The links to our Facebook, LinkedIn and Instagram pages are plain links: nothing is loaded from those services unless you click them.
Google Maps
The map on our Contact page does not load until you choose to load it, or allow Maps in Cookie settings. Until then, the page does not connect to Google for the map. When the map loads, Google receives information such as your IP address and may set cookies, under Google’s Privacy Policy (opens in a new tab). The Get directions link opens Google Maps only if you click it.
Spam protection (Google reCAPTCHA)
We use Google reCAPTCHA v3 to protect our contact form and the Ad Channel Planner from spam and abuse. It works in the background and shows a small reCAPTCHA notice next to the form.
- When it loads: on the Contact page, when the page loads; on the Performance Marketing page, only when you reach the last step of the Ad Channel Planner. Your browser then connects to Google (www.google.com and www.gstatic.com).
- What Google receives: Google's reCAPTCHA collects hardware and software information, such as device and application data, and information about how the page is used, to assess whether a submission comes from a person. This includes your IP address and any Google cookies in your browser. Google processes this under its Privacy Policy (opens in a new tab) and Terms of Service (opens in a new tab).
- What our server does: when you submit, our server sends the reCAPTCHA token to Google to check it. For the contact form, our form software also sends your IP address to Google with that check. For the Ad Channel Planner, we do not send your IP address. Google returns a score, and a submission that fails the check is not stored or emailed. We do not store the score.
- Your choices: reCAPTCHA loads only on pages with a form (the Contact page and the Ad Channel Planner), and it loads before you make a cookie choice, because it protects these forms from spam and abuse. It is not part of the optional cookie choices. As described above, Google receives information such as your IP address and details about your browser and device when it loads. If it is blocked, the forms cannot be sent, but you can still email us at contact@digitaldignity.in. [Legal review: confirm this approach and wording.]
Your consent ID and our record of your choices
In your browser: when you first make a choice, your browser creates a random consent ID. It is stored only in the dd_consent cookie described above, together with your choices, the time of your choice and the policy version, and nowhere else in your browser. It stays there for 6 months (183 days) from your most recent choice, unless you clear your cookies first. If you clear the cookie, or if we update this policy’s version, you are asked again and a new consent ID is created. Because it is a cookie, your browser sends it to this website’s server with your page requests; we do not use it to identify you.
On our server: each time you make or change a choice, your browser sends the consent ID and your choices to this website’s server, which stores a record of: the consent ID, the date and time, the policy version, whether you accepted all, rejected optional services or made your own selection, and your choice for each category. We do not store your name, email address, IP address or browser details in this record, and it is kept separately from enquiries and planner submissions. We use it to respect your choice and to show that it was given. On its own, it does not tell us who you are. To limit misuse, the server briefly counts these requests using a one-way hash of your IP address for up to 10 minutes; the address itself is not stored.
How long we keep it: these records are kept for 12 months (365 days) and are then deleted automatically.
Access and deletion: you can see your consent ID in Cookie settings. To ask for a copy of the records linked to it, or for them to be deleted, email contact@digitaldignity.in with that ID. Because the records are not linked to your name or email address, we cannot find them without the ID. You can remove the cookie from your browser at any time by clearing this website’s cookies.
Security
We use reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect personal data, including encrypted connections (HTTPS) and restricted administrative access. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure.
Children
This website is intended for businesses and is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. The “last updated” date above shows when it was last changed.
